Rita Briansky came to inspire us with a Peruvian  still life. 

 The first exercise was to draw the subject using our non-dominant hand.  Drawing this way silences our inner critic.    It allows you to draw what you see rather than what you know.

 This was our starting point.  Rita carefully chose the objects, their colors and placement. 

We all came up with our very own, unique interpretations.  Here are a few examples.
